π· Pixel Washer Launches October 15 Into Early Access
Ahhh Pixel Washer will finally see the light of day on Oct 15, 2026 as it launches into Steam Early Access. There's still much to do, but there's a lot of fun gameplay here and I'm ready to start integrating your feedback.
Acclaim and I are also working on a Nintendo Switch version, which we hope to sim-launch (which means "simultaneous launch" if you, like me, had never heard that before) along with the big 1.0 launch next year.
I really want to get the word out, which means it's time for a YouTube video and also a brand spankin' new episode of Make the Game, my increasingly-occasional game dev podcast. Check 'em both out:

Will this embed work? Only time will tell (no).
(Here's a direct link to the Spotify episode since the embeds rarely work.)
I know I haven't been making videos (or podcasts) as often as I was a few years ago, which we talk about in this episode a bit. I've been super focused on making the game and I've kind of dropped some of the other balls I was juggling, honestly.
Don't stop posting as I like to say (and often forget myself). My plan is to make more stuff every day/week/whatever instead of, ya know, just disappearing into my little game dev hole. So thanks for sticking with me and stay tuned for more.
